WHILE LOUDOUN AND NORTHERN Virginia Planning 'District Commission members considered a vast “waste water quality plan,” the RappahannockRapidan Planning District Commission (encompassing Fauquier, Rappahannock, Orange and Warrenton) set a public workshop for December 12 all day in Culpeper On its regional plan.
The workshop will start at 10 a.m. at the Culpeper Town Office Building. Executive Director of the Planning District Commission, Arthur Warren, said the workshop will help local governments and interested, citizen groups understand far-reaching sewer plans of the State Water Control Board. “Those sewer projects that are in the plan get priority,” said Warren. “Those that aren’t, get zilch.”
“We’ll need an hour or so on the Occoquan,” said Warrenton Town Manager Ed Brower at the Planning District Commission last Thursday night. “And we’ll need a couple hours on Sperryville,’* added Rappahannock Supervisor Pete Luke.
PUBLIC HEARINGS ON THE plan have been set for 2 p.m. January 9 at the Warren Green Building in Warrenton, and 7 p.m. the same day at the Orange County Courthouse in Orange. C
