AERATION OF acidtreated grain is done for the same purpose as for dry grain, however. This purpose is to cool the grain to near the same temperature as outside air. If moisture forms on acidtreated grain, it will mold and rot as quickly as dry grain. Either may get wet because of temperature differences in the bin.
