Mrs. Myrtle Chastain who reached her 90th milestone Sunday had as visitors during the day, Mrs. Shirley Shelton of Arlington, Mrs. Helen McKenna of Front Royal, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Shelton and Mrs. Louisa Kreidemacher, all of Winchester, and Mrs. Franklin Cain. Three of Mrs. Chastain’s seven children were present and she was the recipient of calls from these absent, as well as many cards and other remembrances.
A report on the ill of the community shows Mrs. Lucy Williams is home and making satisfactory recovery after several weeks in Warren Memorial Hospital; Mrs. Alma Wines entered the same hospital Monday for tests; Jimmy Calvert returned home Friday after two-weeks in Winchester Memorial Hospital, going back to school Monday. □
