Mrs. Massie

Mrs. Ada Mae Miller Massie of Washington, Va., died July 17, 1974 in Warren Memorial Hospital. She was a native of Rappahannock the daughter of the late Brooke Roberts Miller and May Menefee Miller, born Jun 1, 1899. She was the wife of the late Wade Hampton Massie Jr.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Jacqueline Massie Eastham of Amissville; three sons, Wade Hampton Massie IH, and Thomas Benjamin Massie, both of Washington, Va. and James Fletcher Massie, Amissville and 12 grandchildren. Also surviving are one sister, Mrs. Bertie Lib Moffett of Washington, Va. and a brother, Henry (Pat) Miller of Luray.

A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday in the family cemetery at Meadow Grove Farm on Route.729, Amissville.

Pallbearers will include four of her grandsons, William Guerrant Eastham, Jr., Wade Wallihan Massie, Michael Miller Massie and James Fletcher Massie, Jr., Dr. John Lewis Turner, T. Carlyle Lea Jr., Dr. Brooke Moffett and Edwin Marion Eastham III. □
