It has been brought to my attention that the Rappahannock newspaper stated I left the Supervisors meeting early on July 3, 1974. I would like the public to know the reason I left a few minutes early.
My daughter had just been operated on in the Charlottesville Hospital. We left in order to make it for the first visiting hours.
