Amissville welcomes you to the annual carnival which opened Wednesday night and continues through Saturday. The carnival benefits the volunteer fire company and rescue squad of that community. All the children were camera shy Tuesday when we visited there except those Streagle children who were just popping with excitement in anticipation of the carnival opening. Marc and Shannon Streagle talked Bradley Williams of Chester Gap into giving a group of little people a free ride just to test the equipment. The rides are owned and operated by Chester Gap Fire Company.
