In conjunction with the Neighborhood Youth Corps, a federally funded program which assist young people with summer employment, that was introduced in Rappahannock County this year, Arthur Gatewood, Bruce Gatewood and Timmy Clanagan secured summer jobs with the Virginia Department of Highways. This week, under the supervision of George Jenkins, the youths were busy beautifying the roadsides, always a necessary chore.
