GOVERNOR Mills Godwin’s announcement that state funding to public education will be cut back five per cent will mean that Rappahannock’s school superintendent’s staff and school board will have to make some adjustments.
“It certainly affects us,” assistant superintendent T. A. Fleetwood said, “but exactly how I don’t know.” Fleetwood said there is a difference of opinion among some state educators as to which parts of school budget can be changed as a result of the Governor’s decision.
