A large quantity of firearms, about 42 guns, stolen from Harrisonburg, Elkton and other areas of Rockingham County, was also found. Some items were believed to have come from as far away as New Jersey.
Goode, along with his wife Hazel, has been charged with two counts each of receiving stolen property. They have been released on $20,000 bond each and a preliminary hearing is scheduled for today in Page County District Court. Further charges will be brought before a grand jury. Among items recovered in addition to guns are cameras, binoculars, and power tools.
