THE Basketball season at Rappahannock High opened Tuesday and was followed with a game Wednesday, both at home. The Varsity team has six returning lettermen with seven seniors, five juniors and one sophomore making the roster.
Coach Preston Douglas expects to have at best, nine players capable of substituting at any time. This should give the team the best bench-strength it has had in years.
The Junior Varsity team under Coach David Hrbek consists of seven tenth grader and eight ninth graders. Five of the JV players are returnees.
