UDviousiy, Kappanannock County government has always been clean and honest to the best of its abilities because Rappahannock is alive and doing very well by tending to its own business.
Even though the county does not have big industries, 1 have never known anyone who died of malnutrition, for there is nothing more precious than the natural God-given farmland which Rappahannock occupies and produces many types of fruits and food for human consumption.
As for the public school system in Rappahannock where I graduated in 1962, you have always had the finest and most respected faculty perhaps than any where in the state.
As for the powerlines, industries, subdivisions and shopping centers, well, Rappahannock MUST continue to FIGHT for local authority and outsiders surely have all they can do to clean up their own cities and communities.
All in all, Rappahannock is surely my number one home in heart, even though I now own my home in Culpeper.
