SINCE the (October 30) initial notes from the “Bicentennial Bugle,” the chairwoman of the June 12, 1976, offering at Montpelier, a pageant entitled “Let Freedom Ring,” has asked for (and you can see, has obtained) “ye cornpleat fanfare” herewith pouring from the above-billed “Bugle.”

As an indication of the scope of this project, it can be revealed that over 80 persons of this County will appear in the numerous scenes. A host of nimble needles will be recruited to prepare the carefully detailed and authentically designed costumes to give life to the various sketches chosen to show some of what happened in this country from the Landing (in 1607) until a few weeks ago.
