Mildred Virginia Jenkins of Sperryville was attempting to make a turn into her drive Sunday evening when her vehicle, a 1974 Chevrolet Nova was struck from behind, according to Trooper C. A. Moore.
Charged with failing to maintain proper control after receiving a signal was Wilson J. Burke, also of Sperryville who was driving a 73 GMC truck.
At Huntly on Route 522 two vehicles were involved in a collision. According to Trooper Moore, A. Willis Dearing of Huntly in a 73 Dodge pickup failed to yield theright of way to Robert L. Springfield of Castleton who was operating a 73 Ford. Dearing was cited for the offense after colliding with Springfield at the dumpster area.
