Day car. The Woodward vehicle was not damaged. No injuries resulted and no charges were placed.
Norman Milton Jenkins Jr. of Front Royal was involved in a single vehicle crash January 1. He lost control of his 74 Dodge on Route 614 and struck a tree. He sustained a bruised hand.
Damages were estimated at $600 and charges are pending, said Trooper Baines.
John Maitland of Lanham, Md. was cited for driving to the left of the road after he became involved in a collision with Roberta Smoot of Culpeper on January 1. The mishap occured on Route 601 near Peola Mills.
Maitland was driving a 68 Ford .vhen he rounded a curve and struck the 71 Ford operated by Roberta Smoot. Three passengers in the cars sustained minor injuries. Damage to Maitland’s vehicle was estimated at $500 and at $600 to Smoot’s, according to Mr. Baines.
