Carson B. Johnson of Sperryville has accepted the position of Secretary-Treasurer of the Rappahannock Home Mutual Fire Insurance Cq, of Washington. He assumed his duties January 3. Mr. Johnson succeeds the late James M. Ashby. He will be in the office in the Washington Post Office building week days from 9 to 4 to receive premiums. Mr. Johnson is also associated with W.A. Miller, Realtor with offices in that building.
