The Chester Gap Homemakers will meet Monday, January 10 at 7 p.m. in the home of Mrs. Ethel Williams. Mr. and Mrs. Randall Earley and family were Christmas Eve and New Years Eve guests of his parents, the Charles Earleys in Front Royal.
Mr. and Mrs. Franklin Cain and his father, Early Cain, are home after spending the holidays in Chester, the guests of Mr. and Mrs.” George Griffith and Mark.
New Year’s Day Mr. and Mrs. Steve Williams entertained at dinner honoring the birthday of his mother, Mrs. Hazel Williams. Others present were Shirley Henry of Bentonville and Bray Williams.
Mrs. Lucy Williams continues in Warren Memorial Hospital where she was taken Saturday morning.
Eugene A. Pearson of the veterans Hospital in Perry Point, Md. was a house guest of his brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Walter H. Williams, Jr., from December 23 until the 30th. Callers in the Williams’ home Christmas were, from Browntown, Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Matthew and Ricky; fron Front Royal, Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Williams Rodney and Tammy; Alfred Reel and sons, Derrick and Eric; the Lewis Butlers; John Pearson and Mark; the Gilbert Smiths; the Gary Camerons; and Eddie Henry; from Falmouth, Mrs. Lucy Graham, Mrs. Hattie Ennis, Mrs. Clyde Ellington and Donald; from Chester Gap, Mr. and Mrs. Timmy Williams and sons; Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Williams, Jim Jr. and Kevin.
Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Sealock had Mr. and Mrs. James Fox and children and the Robert Kreishers of Front Royal as recent guests. Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Rector and Raye of Marshall called on the Sealocks Sunday evening.
During the holidays Mr. and Mrs. Johnny Heflin were hosts at a party in their home with approximately 32 guests who were mainly Johnny’s co-workers.
Mrs. Nellie Gilkey was a Sunday dinner guest of Mr. and Mrs. Claude Wines in Front Royal. Mr. and Mrs. Emmitt White of Front Royal, their daughter, Peggy McDonald and son of Winchester were recent visitors in the Gilkey home.
Christmas Day visitors of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Williams were the Russell Campbells, the Dusty Davises, Mr. and Mrs. William Taylor and sons, Mr. and Mrs. Kenny Williams and Melissa, Mrs.
