Funeral services were conducted December 27, 1976 at theOmps Funeral Home by Dr. James R. Jackson and the Rev. G. Raymond Womendorf. Burial was in the Mount Hebron Cemetery.□
Jackson
Bertha Jackson of Washington died December 24 at her residence She was the widow of Jack Jackson, a domestic employe of several area families. She was 46.
Survivors include her mother, Mrs. Annie Strother of Madison; a son, Walter Franklin Strother, two sisters, Frances Strother of Orange and Lillian Strother of Madison; three brothers, Junior Strother of Madison, Claude Strother of Woodberry Forest and James Strother of California.
A funeral service conducted by the Rev. Robert Gillison was held at Pleasant Grove Baptist Cemetery in Madison County on December 29.
Jenkins
James Louis Jenkins, 61, of Falmouth died January 2, 1977 at Medical College of Virginia Hospital in Richmond. A native of Sperryville, he was the son of the late James L. and Lilly S. Brown Jenkins. His wife was the late Fredericka Vashti Bradley Jenkins.
