The budget can be>amended, and the amounts of aid the county can expect won’t be known until March when the General Assembly completes work on the budget.
The supervisors approved adver-, rising a request for proposals for trash hauling to private landfills in the state. Mr. McCarthy said Fauquier is sending out a request for proposals for hauling from a transfer station, but their request does not include hauling Rappahannock’s • trash. Col. Bingham said the bid could later be modified to include Rappahannock.
Mr. McCarthy said the supervisors have to consider four options, building a new cell at the landfill, contracting separately for trash hauling, contracting with Fauquier for trash hauling, and putting county trash in a new cell in Fauquier if that county constructs one. ,
