The society now boasts a membership of 170 who live all Over the country, and has a dedicated team of volunteers. Cathryn Knuepfer is the librarian and curator who spends nearly every weekday at the society. She said, “We have a great interest in what goes on in the county and do a lot of service in the county.”
The purpose of the society, said Mrs. Knuepfer, is to preserve the history of the county in all ways. They have files of over 1,100 families who
