Katherine Russo earned the title of “Most Valuable Player.* Isabelle Eastham was given the “Coach's Award.* and Rachael Carrier was named “Most Improved Player* Coach Budine will be returning next season and predicted a strong future for the team.,
The Lady Owl's final record of 9-11 included a fourth-place finish in the Delaney Athletic Conference and a win over RMA in the opening round of the DAC Tournament. Russo and Carrier were also named DAC Second Team All-Conference.
Daniel Webb, the boys' varsity basketball instructor, assisted this season by Hurley Smith, described how much he had enjoyed his first season as the team's new coach. Mr. Webb awarded Andrew Smith with the title of “Most Valuable Player* gave senior Alex Shafran the Coach's Award, and the “Most Improved Player* award went to Brian Shafran. Andrew Smith also made First Team All-Conference in the DAC thus season, and earned a spot in the top 20-scoring varsity players (tapped from both public and independent schools), as ranked in the Washington Hist.
