Wallace Benton Stover, 82, of Amissville, died on April 5, at Fauquier Hospital.
He was born on October 23, 1925 to the late Cletus and Elinor Stover.
Mr. Stover was a retired carpenter with W.J. Hanback, where he worked for over 30 years. He served in the U.S. Navy during WWII. He was a member of Amissville Baptist Church and a former member of Amissville Volunteer Fire Department.
He is survived by his daughter and her husband, Donna and Larry Oliver of Amissville, four grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Stover, his sons. Roger Stover, Ronny Stover and Wallace Benton Stover, Jr., his sister, Evelyn Burrough and» his brother, Cletus Stover, Jr.
The family will receive friends on Friday, April 11, from 7 to 9 p.m. at Moser Funeral Home, Warrenton, where funeral services will be held on Saturday, April
