Applications for the scholarships are available in the guidance department of the Rappahannock County High School, Wakefield Country Day School, and Hearthstone School, or from Garden Club member Maureen Harris (987-8217). The deadline for receipt of the applications at the schools is Friday, May 16, 2008.
Remembering
KP Grigsby
KP died a year ago. To honor his life and work, Manor Farm created a scholarship to be donated at awards day to a graduating senior at our RCHS, planning to pursue studies related to agriculture. In 2007, the award was given to Meagen Smith.
I have committed $500 of Manor Farm funds to the scholarship and invite friends and relatives to contribute to increase the purse for the recipient.
