and the Shenandoah National Park are working together to bring environmental education opportunities to Rappahannock’s youth.
Efforts are underway to establish an Envirothon after-school program in conjunction with Rappahannock 4-H for Rappahannock high school students. No new funding is needed, only the commitment of a tew adult volunteers.
Volunteer “coaches” are needed to coordinate the program and encourage students in their learning process. The after-school Envirothon club will meet monthly between September and December. In January, more frequent meetings will be needed to
