The Rappahannock Association for the Arts and Community will show the movie ’Before the Rains’ on Sept. 19 at 8 p.m. at The Theatre on Gay Street in Washington, Va. Set in exotic southern India in the late 1930s, this provocative tale traces the story of three people caught in an inexorable web of forbidden romance and dangerous secrets. Loyalties are tested and destinies decided as two worlds collide in this powerful and unforgettable drama. Tickets are $6 adults; $4 students and $3 for children under 10. The movie, which stars Linus Roache and Rahul Bose, is rated PG-13 and runs 98 minutes.
