The Culpeper Soil and Water Conservation District will provide a great deal of support for the Envirothon club and will organize natural resource experts to work with the students. Environmental science knowledge is a plus, but not at all required.

Through the school year, students research soils, forestry, wildlife, aquatics, and a stated current environmental issue. Natural resource personnel, such as foresters, soil scientists, and fish/wildlife experts, regularly lend their expertise.
