Its 2007 Cabernet Franc received a silver medal while the 2007 Viognier received a bronze medal. Results were announced Nov. 10 at the conclusion of the AWS national conference. The international competition, which has been held for 23 years, is considered unique in that all wine judges have successfully passed the rigorous AWS certification program.
The Gadino family said it was proud to have its wines recognized in the competition. The award-winning wines are available at the vyinery’s tasting room.
