Kill Two Deer
Herbert A. ! Foster of ffint Hill and Virgil R. Updike of Washing* ton have proved to be the first two successful deer hunters of the season.
A 6-point, 200-pound buck was shot by Herbert Foster on Mon* day in the Upper Fort Valley in Shenandoah county. He said he’d bought a new 35-Remington, pump, and “if that gun didn’t get a deer, I should quit.”
