Basketball Team News
On Monday evening, November 7, the county’s team playod the boys’ basketball team in the gym.
.Members of the county team were: guards, pete Clater, C. Menefee, Jr.; center, Ellis Pullen;, forwards, Carson .Johnson and Jack Clajt|er; ends substitute, Charles Sisk.
Members of the boys team were: ‘guards/ Pete Estes, John Walker Jenkins; center, William Armentrout; forwards, Garfield .Burke and Buddy Harrington; substitutes Charles Brown, Gerald Brown, and Harold Brown. . The county team won by a score of 5-6-28. Harry Trescott refereed the game.

'Honor Roll Request
The faculty of Sperry Vi lie High School thinks that a revival of the honor roll, as requested by the students, would be very fine. They plan to give an attendance honor roll at the end of each, month and a scholastic honor roll at the end of each advisory, or report card . period.

Thankaghring Program
The seventh grade sponsored the Thanksgiving program for the school. Attractive posters and stage settings were painted by Floyd Jenkins and Baby Frye. The home economics class, assisted b Mrs. Menefee, made the Pil-" grim costumes. The program was in five tableaux, beginning with the signing of the Mayflower Compact and ending with the First Thanksgiving.
