Letters of good wishes and encouragement for . Rappahannock News have been arriving daily.
Mr. and Mrs. D. E. Walker of 'Front Royal sent in their best wishes with the information that Mrs. Walker, formerly Miss Elizabeth Deatherage Eastham of this county, particularly welcomed the paper as a letter from home.
From Newport News comes a greeting from Mr. and Mrs. C. P. Amory:
‘‘Mrs. Amory and I want to congratulate you on bringing out this sheet as we think yon have done a good jhjb of it; R will mean a great deal not only to the good people who now live in Rappahannock, but to those who have moved to other parts. There is nothing like hating the news paper /nan the old home. Thousands now away from the “Land of Rippling Waters” will enjoy and await your paper's visit to their homes.
