Mrs. Doris Coughlin entertained the Castleton H.D. club on January 21 twelve women were pi esent at this meeting. Two new members were taken into the club they being Mrs. Thomas Williams and Mrs. H. B. Courtney. The club was so pleased to have these women join the club. Doris Coughlin, the president of the club presided over the meeting. Mrs. Clarence Scott, the secretary gave a very excellent secretary's report. She also reported that the group of string music players that the club wanted to ~p"ns"r for a -how and dance would not be able to do so. The \e- Fodder Stack Home Demonstration Club was held on January 27 at the home of Mrs. Thomas Smoot. The agent gave out the new year hooks and explained them. Then a demonstration was given to the group on "How to Make Braided Rugs.”
The hostess served very good refreshments which topped off the meeting to a “T."
