We have collected $1.10 for the March of Dimes. We are in hopes of collecting more this .week.
•^Ve had four pupils in our room who made first and second honor roll. They are: Kelly Updike, Garfield Corbin, Nelson Williams, and Nora Gough.
One of our most studious pupils has been absent from school for the past week. Garfield Corbin’s father has appendicitis, he went to *the hospital and Garfield had to keep the children. We hope he will be back in school this week.
We are sure Bunny Settle will ■get lots of looks from all the girls, he just lately got a GI hair cut.

Well, here we are right back where we started from with a new teacher—Mr. Gerald Hicks. Most of our classes are real insteresting, especially w hen he starts telling us about his travels:
\\ hat do you think .of having an eight grade party. We have been thinking about this and are anxious to have one and invite another class in.
Cur class tias played eight basketball games at lunch period and lost two.
