Florence Ann Engham
Mrs. Florence Engham, 81, widow of Arthur Engham, died Thursday morning, January 26, at her home in Sperryville, after having been in declining health for a long period of time.
Funeral services were held on Sunday at 2 o’clock at Hopewell Baptist church, Sperryville, with Rev. Carroll of Warrenton and Rev. S. Timbers, officiating. Interment' was in the Sperryville cemetery.
Mrs. Engham is survived by two daughters Mrs. Robert Russell and Mrs. Fannie Jackson of Sperryville, and four grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Jo d Andes
ill Jackson, Gaylord Butler, George N’oakos, Russ Aylor, and Henry Fitzhugr.. Honorary pallbearers were Fred Frye, David Brown. George Aylor, William Aylor, Charles Williams, and Russell Carter.
A laige assemblage f friends, both white and colored attended the services.
