W. E. Compton. 84, formerly mayor of Washington and one of its oldest citizens, relates that as a boy he remembers Captain A. M. Willis, his daughter. May, and three sons, Lewis, Byrd, and Achille Willis. The sons, he recalls, were great fox hunters* and two of the boys, Achille and Lewis Willis, were classmate of Mr. Compton’s at “Tlj.e Academv."
