Rehabilitation Film
At Flint Hill P.-T.A.
A film showing; how a crippled person can be trained to become a wage earning citizen, will be shown Tuesday night, February 7, at the Flint Hill School P.-T.A. meeting. Any one knowing a person who needs such training and all others interested are invited to come at 8 p.m. for this program. Mr. Allen V. DeHaven, district supervisor of vocational and industrial rehabilitation for the State Board of Education, will be present and tell about his work and show the picture. He is anxious to receive .names of persons needing aid in this matter of vocational training on account of physical handicaps. The business meeting of the P.-T.A. w ill be held at 7 :30 and the program will begin at 8:00. This is Mr. De Haven's first appearance in Rappahannock county in a p.blic meeting and he is anxious that al! sections of the county be rep! scented at this meeting.
Ladies Auxiliary Meet
The Ladies A xiliary to Emmanuel church met on Wednesday evening in the home of Miss Annie Stephenson with Dr. Pendleton conducting the devotional, after which the following officers were elected for the ensuing year: Mrs. John Reveroomh, president; Mrs. R. (',. Quaintance, vice-president; secretary and treasurer Mis< Louise Schwartz; Mrs. Fred Schaefer, educational secretary. Mrs. Revercomb then appointed Miss Louise O Bannon chairman of the blue box offering Mrs. S. • E. Hening, clothing box chairman, and Mrs. Z. It. Sealock, devotional leader.
After a busness discussion Mrs. Schaefer gave an interesting talk on missions, and then took up the Tour of the Prayer Book which Ahe group is studying this year. Refreshments were served by the hostess during the social hour.
