Mrs. J. B. Williams and daughter, Miss Minnie Williams returned. to their home in Flint Hill on Saturday after visiting relatives in Newport News and Bon Air during the past month.

Mrs. J. P. Cook and Mrs. Frank Goode attended the Ice Capades in Washington, D. C., on Saturday.

Mrs. Joe Reid and John Stoutamyer were the dinner guests Tuesdav of Mr. and Mrs. Charles B. Wood in Flint Hill.

Mrs. G. W. Smith entertained at a birthday dinner at her home in Flint Hill, on Tuesday in celebration of the eleventh birthday anniversary of her son. Gallic. Guests included Jimmy Yates. Johnny Browning, Dudley Wood and Bobby Massie.

Mrs. Jeanie Jarvis spent the week end with friends in Washington, D. C.

Mr. and Mrs Fred Schaefer were in Washington, D. C.. on Saturday evening to attend the Ice Capades.

Misses Lillie anil Nellie Johnson were dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. C. R. Johnson on Sunday.

Mrs. Burton Orange and daughter Sandra have returned from a visit of several weeks with relatives in North Carolina.

Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Compton and Mrs. Jessie Rowzie spent Friday in Staunton.

Among those from Woodville attending the funeral services of Miss Cora Compton at Mt. Lebanon Baptist church, on .Saturday, were Mi", and Mrs. C. B. Johnson, Mrs. R. H. Carter, Mrs. Lily Barber, Misses Lillie and Nellie Johnson.

Mrs. W.“'M. Fletcher spent Tuesday and Wednesday with friend's and' relatives in Washington, D. C.

Amos Hawkins returned to U. of Richmond, on Sunday, after a week’s vacation with his mother Mrs. Ertha Hawkins.

Mrs. S. E. Hening and her house guest Mrs. J. C. Clark, were dinner guests on Wednesday evening of Mr. and Mrs. L. J. Kilby.
