We received a new cross of chickens, crossed between Cornish and New Hampshires. They won the chicken of tomorrow contest last year sponsored by the A&P Foo'd Stores.
These chickens were developed by ahatchery in California, and ate supposed to be superior meat type birds, producing a large amoint of white meat, as well as having large drumsticks.
Visitors are welcome at any time to visit this demonstration of baby chicks, located in a brooder house on the school grounds.
Several electric brooders are being made in shop at this time for people in the community. Anyone desiring such a brooder may find out the cost by contacting any FvF.A. boy or Mr. Wagner, our agriculture instructor.
