Four appointments and several transferals, on the field staff of the VPI Extension Service, have bene announced by Extension of-' ficials.

Miss Helen A. Rowe, who has been training in Westmoreland and .Nansemond counties since September 1, 1949, has been op*; pointed assistant home agent in Henri^p. , Miss Ruth P., Boggs has been transferred from Louisa to Isle,of Wight as home agent. V

Charles L. Hall, Jr., of Halifax, a I960 graduate of .VPI, has been appointed assistant agen in Prince William.

Carl D. Bird, Christiansburg, has been appointed assistant agent in Wythe, and Frank £. Stump, Blacksburg, has been appointed assistant agent in Montgomery and Giles counties. Both are 1950 graduates of VPI.

Charles M. Clendenen, assistant agent in Russell, has resigned to accept other employment. ^ ]
