Piedmont District
James W. Fletcher of Sperryville, was elected vice president of Piedmont district, at a meeting of the Virginia Bar Association, held at White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia, Friday and Saturday, August 4 and 5. >
The other four vice-presidents elected were A. M. Harmon, Jr., of Pulaski, Southwest district; A* B. Davis, Jr., of Rocky Mount, Southside district; Wayt B. Timr berlake, of Staunton, Valley district; Willis kT. Cohoon of Suffolk, Tidewater district.
W. R. Broaddus, Jr., of Martinsville, was elected president for next year and William T. ^fuse, of Richmond, was re-elected secretary-treasurer.
Two members of the six-mem-* ber executive committee elected were Edwin C. Meada, of Danville, and William Rosenberger, Jr., of Lynchburg. Two members of this group are named each year for three- year terms. —
The new officers took over their duties Saturday night at the concluding session of the association’* 60th annual meeting.
