YOUNGSTERS INJURED IN FALL FROM HORSE
P. Lee Thornton III and J. W. Drown were injured Friday while riding a horse at the farm of J. Rodea Brown in the F. T. Valley. .Young Lee has a broken arm and J, W. was knocked unconscious from the fall but was revived and has no serious injury. The saddle girth broke, causing the boys to tumble.

RETURNS FROM TRIP
F. R. Armentrout of Woodville returned to his home the first of the week after a vacation trip through the New England states and Canada. He made the trip jvith his brother .and sisters, Mr. and Mrs. C. L. Armentrout and Mrs. C. F. Schomaker of Washing* ton, D. C. The trip included the White Mountains, Thousand ■ Is* lands, and Niagara Falls.

Mr. and Mrs. R. E. Wood were hosts at a bridge party at “Erin”, near Sperryville Saturday evening.
