Many and varied are the opinions concerning the possibility of the location of a government agency in Rappahannock county. With the census report standing at 6067, then there will be 6067 opinions.
Discussion runs pro and con on the advantages and disadvantages. Some think that value of real estate will be helped. Some arei afraid of circumstances involving discrimination problems. Some think that the new people brought in by the«government agency will be a social asset. Others think that if the people could be hand picked to suit the community, it would be all right. Some wonder if too many new people in the countyv would change the county for better, or not. Some argue that it is a conservative county, and most folks like it as it is—or is the expression something like a desire to maintain the status quo rather than “fly to evils we know not of."
