Little Joe Aylor has been recognized as a Sperryville songbird for the greater portion of his yean—all of two! Recently he interrupted a particularly lusty rendition of Jesus Lovss Me to announce to his mother: “Jesus in my gill friend . . Jesus lores me.”

Such childish, albeit unholy, logic leaves the majority of mothers somewhat shaken if not totally inadequate; but Joe’s mother Tali* antly sought-to set her wee charge straight: “No, Joe, Jesus eant be your girl friend; He is not a girl. He is the Son of Cod.”

“Who is He?” was the inevitable demand of the unimpressed songbird.

“Why, God is our Father who lives up in Heaven,” came the traditionally feeble explanation with, its accompanying embellishment of the glories of the Unknown.

“How did He get up there?”
