1. All classes are open to amateur gardeners regardless of ■whether they do or do not belong to a garden club, except for the invitation class and small arrangement class.
2. All members of the Rappahannock Garden Club are expected to exhibit.
3. All specimens, groups, or classes must be grown by the exhibitor. • ■'£>. „ 4. It is not required that flowers .used in arrangement classes be . grown by the exhibitor.
5. Only one entry in each class may be made by an exhibitor.
6. Containers Will be furnished -‘"for. specimens.
7. Potted plants must be in the exhibitor’s possession for at ' least* three months before the show. - * ■_
8. No “state conservation” material may be used in an exhibit. * ' 9. Any exhibit not conforming
be disqualified for competition ‘ but wiH be placed on another table for showing.
10. Wherever backgrounds are furnished for arrangements, only gray or neutral green colors will be used..
11. No accessories will be permitted with arrangements except where it is specified on the schedule!
12. Exhibits must be brought in between 9 and 10:30 a.m. on the day of the show and must not be taken away until after 9 p.m., but must be removed before 10 p.m. the same night.
13. Doors will be closed so that judging may begin promptly at 10:30 a.m. and no more entries may be made after this time.
14. No one will be allowed in the rooms during judging except tie judges, the Flower Show chairman and her helpers.
15. The Rappahannock Garden Club assumes no responsibility for loss or damage of property, although reasonable care will be exercised.
16. A silver offering will be taken at the show.
