Mrs. Janie Beahm has had as her house guest for the past week Mr. and Mrs. La vis Smedley and Miss Josie Racer, of Washington, D. C., they will return Wednesday to heir home in Washington.

Mr. and Mrs. L. J. Kilby spent several days in Washington, D.C., last week where Mr. Kilby attended the convention of the International Apple Growers Association, held at the Statler Hotel.
Mrs* Elizabeth deFuentes and daughter, Lydia Alice, who have been visiting Mrs. deFuentes’ mother, Mrs. Matilda Walker, have returned to their home in Mexico City. Mrs. de Fuentes was before her marriage Miss Elizabeth Adams.
Dr. W. M. Stuart, U. S. Department of Agriculture, was a guest over the week end of his mother, Mrs. W. M. Stuart.

Walton Lawson is a patient in Winchester hospital, recovering from an operation for appendicitis.
