Mrs. Fannie Eastham had as her dinner guests Sunday, Dr. and Mrs, Edwin Eastham, Mr. and Mrs. W. G. Eastham and children Danny ancF Lizzie, Mrs. M. R. Bradford and children Marvin, III, and Virginia Gates, Mr. and Mrs. L. Burfprd, Mr. and Mrs. Phil Eastham, Mrs. T. R. Wright, of Hume; Mr. and Mrs. William Spencer and children of Herndon. In the afternoon Mrs. Eastham had a birthday cake for Marvin Bradford, III, to celebrate his 7th birthday.

Beekeepers Course At
Charlottesville Sept, 7-8
Third Annual Beekeepers short course will be held at University of Virginia, September 7-8. VPI extension service has planned the program and the Albemarle County Beekeepers Association will act as hosts to the group.
Dormitory rooms will' be madeavailable at a very reasonable rate for those desiring them. Meals may also be obtained at Univer’ sity Commons. , Roster of speakers on the program will include: George H. Rea, former specialist of VPI; George Abrams, bee specialist University of Maryland; W. A. Stephen, bee specialist, N.C. State College; Dr. J. M. Grayson, J. O. Powell of VPI; and the present bee specialist for the agricultural service, John A. Amos.
