BAILEY MAJORS . .
Funeral services for Bailey Majors, 83, of Sperryville, who died Finlay, August 25, at Harlem Hos-y pital, New York City, after aniliness of about three weeks, were held Tuesday, August 29, with services from Hope well Baptist church. The Rev. L. M. Carroll, pastor officiating. Interment was in the church cemetery. Bailey Major lived in Major Hollow practically all his life.
Active pallbearers were James Lewis, Albert Gatfoot, George Noakes, Lewis Aylor, William Aylor, and Gaylord Butler.
Surviving are one brother, Colombus Majors of New York, one granddaughter, Doris Richardson of New York, several nieces and nephews. "
Among those attending the funeral from New York were, Mr. and Mrs. John Majors, Mr. and Mrs. McKinley Majors, Mr. House Dearing, Mrs. Nellie Cunningham, Mr. and Mrs. David Richardson.
