About 200 rural women are attending from the United States.
The women were scheduled to tour points of interest in Britain, Belgium, and Holland before Going to Copenhagen.
The theme of the conference is “Betterment of Rural Homes and People Throughout the Woild.” Miss Maude E. Wallace, assistant director of the Virginia Extension Service, who made the announcement, said the conference will aim at developing ideas to help United Nations better serve its purpose. All of the meetings will be held in the Dafiish Parliament Building, where the 18 women members of Parliament and the chairman of the four national rural women’s associations will act as hostesses to the visting delegates. Queen Alexandrina and Queen Ingrid of Denmark, and Mrs. Eugene Anderson, U. S. woman ambassador to Denmark, are expected: to. attend /ome of the sessions. . '
