-.-Cornelius Randolph Hite, Jr., a life-long resident of F: T. Valley, Rappahannock county, died with a heart attack early Thursday morning, October 26, at his home, “Mont Medi.” * ' ' X: Mr. Hite, .68, was a son of C. Randolph Hite and Mrs. Elizabeth Stark Hite. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Marie Kilby Hite, and a sister, Miss Mary Elizabeth Hite, at home; and a brother, James S. ‘Hite, of Weiser, Idaho.
Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon,, October 28, in St. Paul’s cemetery, Woodville, with Dr. W. G. Pendleton and ReV. A. Paul Thompson officiating. Masonic rites were ih charge of the lodges of Washington and ; Sperrytllle and the honorary pallbearers were lodge members. . Active pallbearers were W. Curtis Campbell, J. DeJ Keyser, G. Jack-* son Miller, Walter Varner,^D. D. Miller, and George Taylor. ■4. Well-known throughout"* the ) ' county, Mr. Hite was a prominent orchardist and president of the Washington Co-operative.
