Castleton H.D. club, they held their monthly meeting last Tuesday, the 24th, at the home of Mrs. Johnnie Woodard. The following leaders were appointed by the president, Mrs. John Woodard: Federation Goal chairmen, Mrs: Mamie Leake and Miss Elsie Courtney; Program Development leader, Mrs. Clarence Scott; House Furnishings Leaders i^rs. . Ruby Cannon aiid .Miss Ida Browning; Foods leaders, Mrs. Gordon Way- . land, Mrs..Mamie Leake, and Miss Emily Mandel; 4-H leaders, Doris Coughlin and Mrs. Clarence Scott; Hat Restyling leaders, Mrs. John Woodard and Mrs. W. B. Dennis. United Nations Day celebration was discussed by Mrs. Mabel Racer, who was a guest for the day. Then a demonstration on “Stenciling Cloth” iwas given by the agent. Around 8 to 10 pieces of cloth were stenciled at the meeting, among these being; table cloths, napkins, bureau scarfs and pillqw cases. The' hostess Served the •group delicious pie and coffee.
