Missionary Society Meets
With Mrs. Latham
Julia Hagood Graham Missionary Society met at the home oij Mrs. Richard Latham, near Amissville, on Friday ^evening, July 6. Eight members and one guesfc were present. A letter from Mrs. Julia Hagood iwas read in which she requested that the society be called by her full name rather than just Julia Hagood. It was approved and passed that the society would be known as “The Julia Hagood Graham Missionary Society.’’ Mrs. William Gilbert was in charge of the program. At the close of the meeting refreshments were served by the hostess.

On Return To Old Home
Mrs. George Wilkinson of Front Royal spent Thursday with Miss Margaret Compton.
Mrs. Wilkinson is remembered in the county as Miss Maude Clarke, whose childhood was spent in Washington.
She was much pleased to note the many improvements in the town and thinks the all-woman government has accomplished wonders.
