Lewis Burke, of Berryville, who was taken quite sick at his home last week is greatly improved and able to be up and around his home.

Rev. A. Paul Thompson and R. E. Thompson took the Boy Scoub troop on a sightseeing trip on Fri-. day to Monticello and Ash Lawn. Mrs. Paul Thompson, Mrs. J‘. R'odes Brown and Lee Thornton, III, accompanied them as far as Charlottesville, where they visited Mrs. J. Rodes Brown, Jr., and infant daughter, Susan Stuart.
